Wildstrings Comments: This is another blind pick in a store which ultimately turns out to be good. Prof. V.G. Mahapurush, a native of Karnataka state and learned the sitar from the renowned Sitar Meastro "Ustad Bale Khan" (Check My Release of Him). This recording features two popular ragas namely Raga Ahir Bhairav in Alap, Jor, Jhalla & Teental and a very short dhun of Raga Charukeshi in Live. Prof. V.G. Mahapurush performed both Ragas so well with the accompaniment of Keshav Joshi on Tabla. By the way, it seems the name of the album is wrongly printed as the "Raga Ahir Bhairav" usually performed in the early hours of dwan and so this album name should be "Natural By Dawn" as printed on the back cover. However, the front and CD holds the name "Natural by Dusk" and so I've ripped and named this album as it is. But technically this album's name should be "Natural By Dawn". Very Recommended. Enjoy. :music:
P.S. From 18th minute onwards there is a slight hitch appears occasionally in the first song which is present on the original cd itself. It is probably a mistake in recording itself or may be fault of Sruti Box.
