This is the CD that comes with the book “The Source: The Untold Story of Father Yod, YaHoWha 13, and The Source Family” by Isis Aquarian and Electricity Aquarian. Great book, lots of wickedly cool pictures of Yod and the gang, not to mention more strange new-agey hippie-jargon than I’d ever want to read again in my life. Great read.

There are only a few real songs here, the live recording from the Beverly Hills High School is as good as anything Yahowa and his sons ever laid down, if a bit lower in intensity, a few other jams are cool, and then there’s plenty of interviews and oddities, explaining his philosophy on things. Good stuff. The live show from ’73 is what makes this CD more than just a novelty imho. Superb stuff, the way he judges his audience and waits and builds tension until the school bell goes off, then launches into fully fledged rockin’ chant mode is impressive and gives away what kind of great performer he must’ve been.

So to review this in a way consistent with Yahowa's teachings; Not everything on this CD is good enough to make your kundalini go off, but plenty of it will make your chakras vibrate with good energy. If you know what I mean.

“Your hair is your cosmic roots, man! That’s why you gotta dry it outside, in the sunshine. Your hair is the cosmic link to the energy force of the stars!”
