Yes, it's a BMG compilation, but these are all original recordings, not cheesy re-recordings that all of us oldies collectors despise. I'd like to point out that for the money you will get some hard-to-find gems, plus Last Date/Floyd Kramer, GTO/Ronny & The Daytonas, and Baby The Rain Must Fall/Glenn Yarbrough are all difficult to find in their original versions. The ones available on iTunes are not the original recordings, so be advised. I highly recommend this three disc set if you are looking to fill out your digital oldies collection and want the original recordings. Liner notes are sparse, but you are given the name of the original labels. - M.Kreffel
