Groovy Peruvian psychedelia from the musicians that went on to be We All Together, plus some fellow travellers in the Lima scene -- work recorded from the late 60s through the early part of the 70s -- featuring sunny, catchy tunes that for the most part predate the We All Together era proper! We Are Not Together features material credited to Carlos Guerrero & Nilo Espinosa, Monik, Illicit, Cerro Verde, Laghonia and Smog -- each track featuring members of We All Together -- with those wonderful, Beatles inspired vocal harmonies so prevalent to the We All Together sound -- and overall a very nice mix of western psychedelic tunefulness, the melodicism of the Brit scene, and some more tropical South American grooves!
