Highly regarded in psychedelic rock collector circles, the obscurity of the original 1973 LP, a self-released album from Germany, only adds to the mystique of this rough ride through the outer regions of hard psychedelia. This trio of 15 to 17 year-olds left little in its path other than shards of amplified sonic detritus. Reissued on CD for the first time, this exhibits a proto-punk noise feast that is highly entertaining if a little prohibitive in its abrasion. Sonst ist wenig über AINIGMA bekannt. Sie produzieren einen rauhen Hardrock, teilweise bluesig, ein wenig mit der 2. FRUMPY zu vergleichen, jedoch wesentlich psychdelischer.
Die Musik wird hauptsächlich von Orgel und Gitarre bestimmt - das instrumentelle Feeling und der Stil dieser Produktion ist mit der LP NECRONOMICON (Tips zum Selbstmord) zu vergleichen. (The crack in the cosmic egg, Alexander Zuk)
