McDonald And Giles – McDonald And Giles (1970)
Originally released in 1970. These ex King Crimson pair teamed up to record a stunningly beautiful album with rich musical textures and Abbey Road-esque vocal arrangements and full orchestration, the album continued where their work in King Crimson left off and featured a guest appearance by Steve Winwood. This is a gem that requires immediate attention.

Beautiful!
I think you live in the garden of delights… or maybe YOU are ….the delight??
No.. you’re just a lovely person who loves great music.
But… i think i’m talking about the same thing..
Next album will be “The Garden of Jane Delawney” or i am wrong?
I have been looking for this.
This album is one of my favs.
I also would love to hear Trees – The Garden of Jane Delawney!
I was wondering: what about Giles, Giles & Fripp (The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles & Fripp) ???

i was looking for a long time for giles, giles and fripp and, what asurprise a magical album what i don’t waiting for.
Hi, anonymous
I was suggesting if anyone would post giles, giles & fripp, not saying that I would post it. I have the original LP, but, unfortunately, as most of my records from that era (mcdonald & giles included), gg&f is in a very very bad shape. It would be a massive task, if possible, to extract an acceptable sound from it.

Thank you ever so much. This makes my day.
You are the queen!
in some sense early king crimson is converting to early caravan. Thanks for all the well sorted music here.
herr k.
I have the G,G&F vinyl somewhere. I think it’s in pretty good shape.
There’s a CD – The Bronesbury Tapes that has some of the Cheerful Insanity stuff. There’s a lot of junk on it though. I downloaded it, for free, from emusic.com – 30 day free trial.
AWESOME thank you.
I’ve been hoping someone would post this. Thank you very much. The album cover is gorgeous, just as I recall.
progressive rock at its finest
Very nice.
nice Beatlesque & jazzy influences
This is an awesome album.
Wow – never heard of this and it’s great! Some of it reminds me of Os Mutantes (maybe wrongly but that what comes to mind).
excellent album
What a remarkable album!
Thanks for your comments!
I am really enjoying this album.
great early British prog rock
Blessings! I lost this lyrical and fun album in a 1974 move. Although I stitched together a version of sorts in the Last Days of Napster, it has some issues. Another superb Acid Visions selection.
I bought this record when it came out in 1970. I still own it, but along with all my other records…they’re stored in the basement and I have not played them or unpacked them since the late 80’s.
But…I still own em!!
i like this BLOG
great
No, it’s unbelieveble!!!!!!!!
Bastards! Just had to put their hot girlfriends on the cover . . .(I’m jealous!)
